Results From JCC's First K.C.P.E Exam

In November 2007, class 8 took their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (K.C.P.E) exam in to qualify to attend high school in January 2008. We are happy to tell you that seven out of nine students who took this government exam have passed it successfully. Loise had the highest score. Unfortunately, Joseph and Winnie failed by, respectively, 5 and 17 points. Considering where these children came from and the little schooling they had previously received, we are very proud of them. Joseph and Winnie will be allowed to attend high school, but will receive extra tutoring so that they do not to fall further behind.
