Ann Wylie

Ann has lived in Charlotte, North Carolina since July, 1979 and is a graduate of UNC-G (known as Women’s College of UNC when she was there). She taught the Fourth Grade in Elementary School for six years.

She has been an active member of Providence United Methodist Church since 1980. She was a Choir member for twenty five years and then retired! She has been an officer in Providence United Methodist Women’s group since 1990, serving as President for two years. She has been very involved with “Room in the Inn” and “Family Promise”. Ann is a member on the Global Mission and Haiti Board. She has been a volunteer at Urban Ministries since 1980, serving in the Soup Kitchen every Friday as Day Chairman.

Ann lived in Tokyo, Japan from 1986 through1990 and was able to travel worldwide because of her husband’s work with IBM. Ann traveled to Kenya in 1990 and so knows a little about the country and the people there.
