Bruce is a native of Michigan who has lived in Charlotte since 1984. He graduated from Michigan State University’s Business School with a BS in Marketing, and has worked as a sales executive in the metals industry for most of his career. He met his wife Dee, a native Charlottean, shortly after his arrival in 1984.

He has been very active at his church, Myers Park United Methodist, where he currently serves on the Administrative Board, Jubilee Grant Committee, and is chairman of the World Outreach committee. Bruce has traveled extensively throughout the world, for business and pleasure, to countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. In recent years he has developed a passion for mission work, and strongly believes that the best way to practice Christianity is by example. That means actively using your gifts, your hands, and your feet to help others in need.
