Nancy Roberts

Nancy Roberts is a native of Binghamton, NY who has lived in River Hills, Lake Wylie for 32 years. She moved here with her husband Bruce in 1979 when he founded Falcon Metal Corporation, a wholesale distributor of industrial fasteners. She is a graduate of Binghamton University with a BA in Social Sciences and an MS in Management Sciences with an Accounting emphasis.

Her career in accounting has included positions with several not-for-profit organizations including the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Drew University and UNCC. She worked as a free lance accountant for small business for over 20 years as well as being responsible for accounting at Falcon Metal.

After the sale of Falcon Metal in 2008, she and Bruce have been enjoying retirement with extensive travel and volunteer effort for many not-for-profit organizations. She and Bruce were original KOP Board members and Nancy served as treasurer of KOP from 2002 through 2005 and resumed this position in 2011. She and Bruce were also hard working participants in the February 2003 and July 2004 mission trips to Jubilee Children’s Center with KOP.
