KEEP Fund

Kenya Educational Endowment Project

The Kenya Educational Endowment Project was started in 2006 with the Mount Kilimanjaro Climb Fundraiser named “KEEP Climbing”. Twelve people from both North and South Carolina took on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and in the process, raised $125,000 to establish a permanent endowment to finance quality higher education for our children, after they complete High School. All children will need either college or a vocational education before they can enter the job market and break the cycle of poverty.

The KEEP fund is managed by “Harbor Capital Management” from Charlotte, NC and supervised by a committee reporting to the KOP board of directors. The earnings of the KEEP endowment fund will be used to pay for college tuition, vocational or trade schools.

Your help is still needed!

Individual and corporate donations are continuously needed to support the endowment.

Memorials, donations in lieu of presents, gift of stocks, remembering KOP in your will are great ways of making an impact in children’s lives.

Funds donated by these methods will go strictly to the KEEP Fund.

All donations are tax deductible under our 501(c)(3) Federal ID Number 30-0141928.

To save KOP fees for online donations, we welcome checks or money orders (U.S. Dollar only) mailed to:
